Swimming Pool

Location : one located at Upper Baguio Villa & the other at Lower Baguio Villa

Opening Hours : Daily 7:00a.m-9:30p.m. (every year from 16th April to 15th October)

1:00p.m. - 2:30p.m. close for cleaning

Charges : 3yrs old or over person : $30/ticket

                65yrs old or over person : $15/ticket

*** 1 child aged below 3 is free of charge with 1 ticket-holder' adult using the swimming pool facilities.

Booking : Please show resident card to purchase ticket at management office of each block (no ticket office at swimming pool entrance)

                Upper Baguio Villa: management office of Blocks 19 – 24

                Lower Baguio Villa: management office of Blocks 28 – 31

*** When thunderstorm warning signal is issued or typhoon signal No. 3 or below is hoisted, the management staff will display notices at prominent places / management counters, thus informing the residents of the up-to-date weather conditions. The Management staff have the discretion to open or close the swimming pool according to the weather condition at that time.

If a resident insists upon swimming, he or she MUST sign a Personal Indemnity prior to entering the swimming pool to certify that the resident has already been informed of the risks of swimming at that time.  The resident will undertake to be personally liable as stated in the Personal Indemnity, otherwise, he or she will not be allowed to use the pool. If the weather becomes worse, the management staff are empowered to close the swimming pool immediately. Swimming fees, once paid, will not be refunded.

In Order To maintain a SAFE and HYGENIC Swimming environment, we ask that the following rules be observed :

1) Before entering the water, patrons (with or without suntan lotion) must shower thoroughly.

2) Patrons must change into their swim wear either before they arrive at the swimming pool area or change in the changing room before entering the pool.

3) Patrons must wear proper swimming attire in the pool.

4) Swimming caps must be worn by all swimmers with shoulder length hair (both male and female) before entering the water.

5) Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

6) Pets are not allowed in the pool area.

7) No outdoor footwear, eating and drinking is allowed within the pool.

8) Running around the sides of the pool is not permitted.

9) Please present your Resident's Card when buying the swimming pool ticket at the management counter of your own block.

10) The use of radios or any sound equipment is prohibited within the pool unless ear phones are used.

11) Patrons should be considerate to other pool users, especially in the use of mobile phones.

12) People suffering from any infectious or contagious disease may not enter the pool.

13) SAFETY - THE LIFEGUARDS MUST BE ABLE TO SEE CLEARLY UNDERNEATH THE WATER SURFACE OF THE SWIMMING POOL AT ALL TIMES.

13.1 In order not to obstruct the vision of the lifeguards, large water floats, lilos, large rubber rings etc larger than 2 feet by 2 feet are not allowed in the pool.

13.2 Other Auxiliary Swimming and Safety devices such as kick boards, 'noodles', children's arm-bands and smaller floatation devices may be used after inspection and approval by the Chief Lifeguard on duty and IPML staff, if necessary, prior to entry into the swimming pool complex.

13.3 Professional Qualified Swimming Instructors should be allowed to teach children how to swim but must obtain authority in writing from IPML and be restricted to specific times when the pool is not too crowded and confined to use of the single swimming lane nearest the location of the lifeguards elevated viewing chair.

13.4 Furthermore, if the lifeguards are of the opinion that the pool is too crowded, they will have authority to clear the pool and only admit such number of persons as can be effectively monitored.

13.5 No Diving is allowed within the pool.

13.6 Ball games may only be played between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. On all other days and times, ball games are prohibited in and around the pools.

13.7 Two lanes will be roped off between 9:00 – 11:00 am and 7:00 – 9:30 pm for swimmers wishing to do laps.

13.8 The Management Office has the right to prohibit use of the pool facilities to persons interfering with the reasonable enjoyment of the pool facilities by other patrons.

14) LIFEGUARDS AUTHORITY:

14.1 OWNERS AND RESIDENTS KINDLY NOTE THAT AT THE SWIMMING POOL,THE LIFEGUARD HAS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ENSURING THE SAFETY OF ALL SWIMMING POOL USERS AND IN PARTICULAR CHILDREN.

14.2 PLEASE RESPECT THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE LIFEGUARDS. THEY ARE EMPLOYED TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY AND THAT OF YOUR CHILDREN AND THOSE OF OTHER USERS.

14.3 Patrons must follow all instructions of on-duty life guards; any offenders may be requested to leave the pool immediately.

We trust that this will not be necessary and that all residents will have an enjoyable time at the pool this year, paying due consideration to all other users and those employed to ensure their safety.

Tennis Court

Location : One located at Upper Baguio Villa & the other at Lower Baguio Villa

Charges : Day-time (7:00am - 6:00pm) $40/hour

                Night-time (6:00pm - 10:00pm) $60/hour

Booking : Please show resident card to purchase ticket at management office of each block

                Upper Baguio Villa: management office of Blocks 19 – 24

                Lower Baguio Villa: management office of Blocks 28 – 31

Regulations of the Tennis Court :

1.      Booking hours: 0645 hours to 2100 hours.

2.      Opening hours: 0700 hours to 2200 hours.

3.      Resident is required to reserve Tennis Court within 7 days in advance on a first-come-first-served basis and NO telephone booking is accepted.

4.      Each resident of each premise is allowed to book only one hour daily.

5.      Residents are not allowed to have any second bookings if the first booking has not been played.

6.      Residents are requested to show your resident card or address proof for identification while booking.  Management Office reserves the right to reject residents who does not comply with any regulations to use such facilities.

7.      Only cash payment is accepted for booking.

8.      Charge for the tennis court is $40 per hour in the off-peak hours (from 7 am to 6 pm every Monday to Friday) and $60 per hour in the peak hours (from 6 pm to 10 pm every Monday to Friday and the whole day in Saturday, Sunday and public holidays).

9.      Booked time slot will not be refunded or amended except rainy weather, thunderstorm warning issued, or typhoon signal no. 3 or above is hoisted.  Such refund or amendment should be made within the next 24 hours.

10.  If residents who have booked the tennis court do not show up within the first 15 minutes of the reserved time slot (except for special conditions such as rainy weather etc), fee paid will be forfeited and the court will be release for other residents’ booking at the same charge ( i.e. off-peak hours : $40/hour and peak hours : $60/hour ).

11.   All users must wear tennis shoes to play in the court.

12.  Eating, drinking or smoking is prohibited inside the court.

13.  No pets are allowed within the court area or tying at the fence.

14.  Children under the age of 12 shall be accompanied by adult.

15.  All users shall leave the court immediately when the session ends.

16.  All users must follow the instruction of the Management Office’s staff.  The Management Company has the right to add or amend the above regulations.

17.  International Property Management Limited and The Incorporated Owners of Baguio Villa, Hong Kong shall not be liable in any responsibilities or compensation as a result of the death of or injury to or illness suffered by use of the tennis court thereon.

18.  Tennis court for residents of Baguio Villa only.  Only tennis activities are allowed within the tennis court.
